Synopsis (from goodreads)

As she dwells on his estate, her feelings for Tamlin transform from icy hostility into a fiery passion that burns through every lie and warning she's been told about the beautiful, dangerous world of the Fae. But an ancient, wicked shadow grows over the faerie lands, and Feyre must find a way to stop it . . . or doom Tamlin—and his world—forever.

When nineteen-year-old huntress Feyre kills a wolf in the woods, a beast-like creature arrives to demand retribution for it. Dragged to a treacherous magical land she only knows about from legends, Feyre discovers that her captor is not an animal, but Tamlin—one of the lethal, immortal faeries who once ruled their world.

Rating: 5/5 stars

If you love fantasy and undeniable chemistry between two characters who at first can't have each other, this book is for you.

"A Court Of Thorns & Roses" let my heart feel unrecognisable emotions which I can only associate with giddiness, joy and the obvious, love. The writing style was completely new to me, but I loved it, it was Young Adult merging into New Adult. I loved this book with a passion, you can even say that my passion is the same as the one conveyed within the book.

The plot was so refreshing, I've never read a book solely based on a world of faeries. The concepts and imagery was so beautiful, and sometimes I forget that the world that Mrs Maas has created is fictional. Pity.

The characters were extraordinary. I loved each and every one of them; Tamlin, a faerie of many secrets, Lucien, another who is nothing but loyal to his friends, Feyre, a somewhat strong female character who does anything for her beloved and Rhysand who is described as the most beautiful man in the world by Feyre. The chemistry within this book was unlimited and just raw. On another note, I think I'm the only one who just automatically fell inlove with Rhysand. I love his character. His dark features creating shadows of the unknown, cloaking and hiding something beautiful, something pure, something real. His actions were questionable, but after a while, everything linked together and you knew deep down, he was there for anyone. He secretly has a beautiful soul.

This book was beautiful. The writing was beautiful. The characters were beautiful. I need to read the sequel. Anyone keen on building me a time machine so I can fast forward into May 2016 ? Yes ? No ? Okay, I see how it is.

Bye for now xoxo,

P.S. I've kept this review simple and sweet so I wouldn't give away spoilers.
